Carrie, responsible for navigating the program with OPSEU 365 participants will go over the process and timeline. Then Hannah and Michelle from Career Space will brush up our cover letter and resume writing skills! Bring your lunch and enjoy our light refreshments/ snacks offered in person. Join the Executive, Stewards and fellow OPSEU 365 members for a coffee break in the Lady Eaton Collage Pit (LEC 206). On Wed. Nov. 6th from 10 to 11am enjoy refreshments and conversation with your colleagues.

OPSEU 365 AGM will be held Wed. Oct 23rd at 9am in Wenjack Theatre. This meeting will be hybrid, both on Zoom and in person. Light refreshments will be served. Registration to follow. The Bargaining Team will be elected.

Educate! Activate! Celebrate! Pride Week is Sept. 20th to 29th. Join OPSEU 365 and CUPE 3908 to march in the Pride Parade Saturday September 28th at 2pm. The parade starts at City Hall, 500 George St. Pre-parade gathers at 1:30pm. From there we will march approximately 1km down George st. to Millennium Park to the Pride in the Park Event.

Trent University’s 59th annual campaign launches next week on Monday, September 23. The United Way Ambassador team has set two goals this year: raise $120,000 and inspire 15 new donors to join the campaign. These goals are as ambitious as they are impactful. Save the Date – Kick-Off BBQ!Wed. September 25th. 11:30am to 1pm at the Upper Bata Podium. $10 to Dine and make a difference! OPSEU members are invited to the campaign kick-off lunch, courtesy of Trent Food Services. Enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, or veggie options served by Trent's celebrity servers while supporting a great cause!

Join OPSEU Local 365 on Thursday February 22nd from 11am to 1pm for our General Membership Meeting. A hybrid meeting held both in person OC W 101.2 Wenjack Theatre and on Zoom. Snacks will be served. Watch your email for registration and details. The budget, elections to committees including JJEC and the OPSEU Convention will be held.

Items such as pasta, sauce, soups, chili, peanut butter, jam, tuna, canned vegetables and instant noodles are greatly appreciated. We are also collecting personal care items for the TDSA such as toothpaste, tooth brushes and deodorant.
